Ringelblume/Calendula/Calandula officinalis

It is native to central, eastern and southern Europe and north Africa. Growing to about 0,30 to 0,60 meters high and shocasing its distinction with medium, green leaves and a branching fragrant stem wth beautiful daisy flowers. Flower heads grow from 4 to 7 cm in diameter producing an eye pleasing assortment of light orange, yellow to golden and dark yellow flowers.

This wonderful plant doesn’t stop a showcasing beauty; its medicinal benefits run just as deep. Its flowers were and still are used in ancient Greek and Greek, Roman, middle eastern and indian cultures as a medicinal herb as well as a dye for fabrics, foods and cosmetics. Calendula also prevails at various skin and tissue medicinal purposes, including those commerical, artifical creams by using it fo diaper rash and breastfeeding chracked nipple conditions with no risk oft he babys infection with any of the negative after effect.
